I presume you're familiar with rec.radio.amateur.boatanchors ;-) I wasn't
able to find out all that much about the 'CS', other than it
seems to have been made between 1945 and 1946.
Raymond S. Moore's book agrees with the dates and says it's the same
as the NC-2-40C but with frequencies 0.2 to 0.4 and 1 to 30 MHz
instead of 0.49 to 30 MHz.
