P.S. anyone remember PC-Pursuit and StarLink? These
were outdial
services that allowed users, for a $25/mo fee (too high for me back
in the day) to call BBS's all over the US, without worrying about
running up a high long distance bill.
What FidoNet node or user of the 80's _didn't_ know about them? *grin*
