200 kg. is still a bit lighter than the average grand piano, so I would say, use your
best judgement. I live in a mobile home, and probably have 8-900 kg. of stuff in my
'server room' alone, not counting a room directly adjacent to that with even more
in computers and spare parts.
This is in a 14 x 80 ft. single wide mobile home. Been here 18 years with no problems
yet. :)
I live in a doublewide manufactured home. That is, just like a mobile home, but the axles
and tongue have been cut off and it's secured to a permanent foundation with a
crawlspace. The interior is supported by metal jacks like a mobile home would be. I have a
750 pound T-368C transmitter in my radio room up near an exterior wall, and it hasn't
fallen through the floor yet. I'm also a bit concerned about just how much hardware I
want to pack into a room here. I probably wouldn't DEC the walls with fully-loaded 42U
racks, but sparsely placed racks are probably OK, particularly if some care is taken to
spread the load across a few joists and stay near ends of spans.
