Since the Star came from upstate NY and went to Chicago
I bet it was a real
sale. I bet the largest collection of computers in the world
(http://www.vintagecomputers.com) didn't have an original star and was
willing to meet a reserve price of $7500.
I look forward to the web site when they get it done.

world.", so I'm wondering if someone actually has a larger collection than
