Wasn't there a thing cammed MacCharlie? A box that
sat alongside a
classic Mac and connected to the serial port (?). It had a 5.25" drive
built in and would run PC software using the Mac keyaord and display.
I remember one that was a re-badged Ampro.
But they were extraordinarily careful to NEVER say that it was a PC
computer.
It was a "special DISK DRIVE for the Mac that let it read PC disks, and
even run PC software".
