Subject: Disk platter identification
OK. I have a disk platter that was donated by another faculty
member. He said he thought it came from a PDP8. I would like
to identify it more precisely if possible. I have attached a
photo taken with my cell phone (limited resolution.) It has
an architect's scale sitting on it that shows it has a radius
of 8". It is about 1/4" thick and has holes drilled in the
outside edge to balance it. The red color in the hole is just
a binder sitting under it. I can make other measures if
necessary or furnish a higher res. picture.
Anybody recognize it?
