I shipped a pair of SMS-1000's, which are basically a 3rd party BA23 back around 2001.
It took two or three boxes intended for PC towers, either foam or styrofoam, and a lot of
strapping tape. I then hauled them down to the UPS Depot, and sent them out. As I
recall, it wasn't cheap, but it got the job done. It helped that the pair I shipped
were rack mount, not desk-side.
