What would you do to a current Debian distro [...]?
Boot the NetBSD install CD.
We are heading into platform war territory here
but, shouldn't that
be OpenBSD ? Security was their claim to fame over NetBSD.
They made more noise about it; while I haven't taken a close enough
look to be sure, I'm not convinced there's any significant real
difference between them on those grounds.
But both my choice of NetBSD and my incompetence to compare the two
accurately derive from much the same thing: thanks to couple of
dust-ups I've had with Theo, I won't have anything to do with anything
he's more than trivially involved in.
