Totally unrelated on the wheight topic, but on the topic of acquiring PDP
11/4x, where do people get the opportunity to buy a PDP 11/40 or PDP
11/45? I've been looking for one in Europe for the last 5 years and never
came across one...
Happy new year to the list,
Pierre

Betreff: Keeping a Heavy Machine on a Domestic Suspended Floor (UK)
I recently bought a lovely PDP11/45 in a H960 rack, with the CPU, a
Unibus Expansion box and an RK05 drive. I am guessing the whole thing
must weigh at least 100Kg, possibly 150Kg or even more (my worst case
estimate is
200Kg).
