realized what was going on. So now I need a new
printball and some advice on
what to do about the missing rubber? hammer cover.
One problem is that even if you can find an original spare (and I think I
had a few _somewhere_), it's almost certainly going to have decayed and
become soft by now..
One suggestions is a stick-on cabinet foot, available from good
electronics shops. Probably not the right hardness, but it should work a
lot better than nothing.
Finding a type cylioder is a much bigger problem!
