They must make them brave in OK. Out here if you want to collect black
widows you turn flower pots upside down, look in the potting shed or lift
some logs on the wood pile. Around here I don't think I've ever seen one
out in the open except after dark. If you do see a web on a fence or a
railing the spider will probably be hiding in a shady corner during the day.
