Well, the idea of the parts pages wasn't so much to be used for newer design
but more as a reference to be able to understand what you might be dealing
with in terms of all sorts of older hardware. I started it as a way to
organize my datasheets, and it grew from there. And apparently a lot of
folks are interested in the older numbers, from what I can see, and also
the tube stuff...
