Bill, I have 2 of those AHA-1542B's. Those are a pain to get configured
right for some reason, even though they are jumpered, the BIOS occasionally
gives me issues (insistance that the device is drive C, insistance that the
device is a different ID, etc). Maybe it's an old BIOS, maybe it's just
old, who knows. They are workhorses when they do work though. Whoa, Carmel
NY, cool. Newburgh isn't far away (me) and Sridhar isn't far from us either.
