I was lucky to get a Pi and I have been playing with it.
To me it's something that's interesting and there are already a software you can
download to make it play MAME and XMBC.
Is it replacing a full computer? No.. Is it giving me some fun for a total of like $65,
yea...
I have spent more money on less technology I can tell ya.
Actually I think I paid more for my arduino
