I've got a couple of pieces of equipment with security Torx-heads
with the screw located down a long hole. Those little bits are
useless. Better than a set of bits is a set of full drivers or at
least a handle with interchangeable blades. Wiha's got a nice set of
the latter that includes security Torx.
