Here we have a Dolch Atlas 9600 LA that is now part of our computer museum
(in both senses, it is old and it is very useful for analyzing old stuff).
It is complete with several plugin modules (50 MHz, 100 MHz, word
generator, Z8001 plugin etc.) and all the software, manuals and pods. With
all the Z80 processors it's fun to do analyzing stuff on one console and
simply switch to the MPM console for e.g. TurboPascal stuff and then
switch to the third console for the second plugin...
Compared to this the HP1600 is only a simple X-Y scope with two
integrated DACs. Binary representation is done by writing vertical lines
or small ellipses onto the screen.
