Computer magazines are pretty consistently worthless today -- they
know only about sales. They could be selling wicker baskets, same
difference. New! Improved! Same but no different!
Their idea of the 13 "critical machines" to
me is disappointing - The Sony
Picturebook at best has had minimal market impact and is rarely seen outside
Japan;
But Sony is probably a big advertiser. It's pretty much as simple
as that.
If you don't pick at it, it doesn't hurt :-)
