Here are a few that while not so hard to find... WHen
they are on eBay, the
price goes very high:
Commodore 128D
1581
Now these I can see some justification for (not merely because I'm a Commodore
freak). 128Ds are nice units, especially with the built-in disk drive; and
they're very sturdy and well-built. They're also very stylish units, probably
the best looking computers of the 8-bit Commodore line.
The 1581 is also comparatively uncommon and they unfortunately have a 'neat'
factor since few people know Commodore released a 3.5" drive. For this
reason alone they get slapped with R@RE and command a high price, which
so far has held up. I paid $100 for mine about 4 years ago, which was an
absolute steal then.
