Would you fly as a passenger on a jet whose pilots pulled 30 hour
shifts routinely? I wouldn't--hell, I wouldn't ride on a bus whose
driver was pulling a 3-day no-sleep shift.
Of course, having a dopey-from-no-sleep intern order drugs and
perform procedures on your person couldn't possibly go wrong, could
it?
