Yep. Same thing over here in Leeds. "Omygaaawd, that's like, so
daaaaangerous... It plugs into the mains..."
That said, I think there was a court case a while back.. someone sued a
company because he got a static-shock off one of their products. His own damn
fault for wearing synthetic fibre clothing on a dry day, but he got some
stupid compensation payout anyway... I'd have fined him ?5,000 and told him
to stop wasting time.
If you ask me, H&S should be scrapped - let natural de-selection solve the
