I timed myself at the time I made some of those way back (about 15-20
years ago) I soon realised there is littles to be made unless you get
a customer willing to pay the going rate. People often expect model
prices too. But the skill did get me a clock making gig for a few
years

I didn't really mean you could make a living on it. Just meant I am sure
there would people willing to buy your models after you were done. It
would obviously be more about the enjoyment of making them and then
sharing them.
