YEs, for some odd reason motor car manufacturers refered to said
component as a 'condenser' long after the rest of the world had stopped
doing so.
Although the workshop manual for the Austin A60 (the nearest one to hand
:-)) referes to it as a '.2 microfarad metallized capacitor' (and it is
identified as such on the exploded diagram of the ignition distributor).
