I guess you could call it 'IDE', but it's not the same interface as is
used on more normal PCs.
Maybe this is an early nonstandard IDE implementation? We all know too
well how IBM liked to do things "their way"... We wouldn't have PS/2
hardware at all if IBM had stuck to the then emerging standards of the
time.
