I suppose one could switch relays fast enough for some
of the lower
notes, but I have to wonder how well relays would work at 500Hz and
above.
As many of us know, there are high-speed relays, but they tend to have
low-mass moving parts (for obvious reasons) and thus don't make a lound
sound. After all, sound from a relay is essentially wasted energy, it's
not unsful for the normal application of the relay.
Is there a good reason not to use a loudpseaker to make sounds?
