Michael was extremely receptive to the idea (he was
already working on
256 byte/sector support) and added non-standard sector size support
(from 64 to 2048 bytes/sector) and I tried it out with my XL1200.
It would be very nice if that were stretched just 2 bits, to 8192. This
would allow it to format for the Toad-1, which uses 2304 or 4608 as the
sector sizes. We can always use a Paralan SE-to-differential ("HVD") card
to take care of that part of the equation.
Mind seeing what he thinks about that?
