What is a suitable replacement for CR2? It's hard
to
read seeming as though it is missing a chunk. CR1
looks to be the same - but I read it as a 1N4smudge3,
which is rather hard to cross reference. I found the
If it's a little black cylinder with a white/grey band at one end, about
6mm long and 2.5mm in diameter, it might be a 1N4003. That's a very
common rectifier diode in Europe. The last digit encodes the PIV, for
most applications a 1N4007 (the most common one) is fine.
