*A console* on a server becomes useful if the server needs to be
fixed. That console being a bit-mapped framebuffer with megabytes of
software required to support it adds huge amounts of complexity to a
debugging situation. Bad idea. This is why the very beefiest of
servers still have very simple serial consoles.
