You need to beg, borrow, or steal (or make :) a special serial cable, DEC
p/n BCC08. This
is actually pretty straightforward, and you can find the directions for
doing so all over the
place. I'd suggest checking
http://vaxarchive.org (which has a ton of
VAX-related information
anyway).
I can't remember the DEC diagnostic codes for the life of me :) Then again,
they've got
those on
http://vaxarchive.org too :)
