I was the rep for AED in the Houston area, with USDATA, early 80s. Sold a bunch at NASA.
We then jumped ship and went to Jupiter.
We were the graphics specialists and pretty hot for a while with the colorgraphics stuff.
It was kind of a dream job for me because I got to play with all these cool toys.
Also had the Trilog, a color Printronix
Superset graphics super computer (48 bit 2900 bitslice)
Zeta plotters
Compucolor computers

I worked for a company that produced such a
terminal (Advanced Electronic
Design). There were at least six other companies producing color raster
graphic
terminals in the early 80's (AED, Jupiter Systems, Ramtek, Raster
Technologies,
Tektronix, Metheus, and Chromatics) that were capable of displaying what
appears
in that video.
Wow, I have had every one of those names go through my hands in the early 1990s.
Didn't AED use a STD Bus? I seem to remember a STD bus RGB card.
