No problem with that! YOU seem to know what you are talking about.
But, there are some others here who are unfamiliar with that
track structure and reasons for address marks, and I just
naturally slipped into part of my (3 hour!) class lecture,
that starts with FM, and goes to RLL, with detailed
examination of the reasons behind the IBM/WD track format.
There also seemed to be some conflation of index pulse (hardware)
and Index Address Mark (software and format). BOTH of which can
complicate reading weird alien disks,
