Secondly, the immediate thing that strikes me when I
open the
datasheet is "The AM26S11C is not recommended for new designs"!
(I think you meant the AM26S10C.)
Wouldn't it behoove us if we're looking for
replacements for an
obsolete part, we try not to go for a soon-to-be-obsolete replacement?
It would, if there were any such parts! That was why I was excited
about the sn75als057 (which apparently won't work).
