I think the board is off a 5990 series Maimframe it very like one of the
ICL series 39 Mainframe CPU I have at home pipes and all that was also main
by Fujitsu check the pictures on page 5 of the brochures it look like the
board

Anyone any idea from which exact Amdahl models these modules came from ?
I have a board from the CPU stack of an Amdahl 5870 which I looked after
briefly in the early 1990's. It had been upgraded from a 5860 by the
additon of an attached processor. Mine doesn't have any plumbing or copper
sheeting and looks like the boards depicted about half way down this page:

I don't know for sure but I suspect other members of the 58xx series were
similarly constructed. If your units are complete CPUs, they seem to be
much
more compact units with more agressive cooling than any of the 58xx series
that I am familiar with.
