Sniping is only
good for high value items that will get a dozen bids anyway.
Not really. Lately, I have been doing smaller ticket items (10-15
dollars), and the sniping really has not decreased. I think that once
someone uses sniping software, they will use it for all the auctions
they are interested in.
It is getting less and less important to time auctions for the sweet
spots during the day, as I am noticing that pretty much anyone that is
serious is sniping, where ending times just do not matter.
