I'd like to know too. I ended up buying an RRD-40
cdrom
drive as none of my other 512byte-selectable scsi cdrom
drives would boot the hobby cd.
I tried just to back the cd up onto cdr and got a trash cd.
How did you try to back it up? Even if the backup was OK,
the RRD40 may have issues with CD-R media: remember it is a
very old drive and my experience is that they are pretty
picky about what they'll read.
