The machines run fine without them -- but the RS232
console connection and
some other backplane cables IIRC need moving when
you pull 'em.
Ah. Good to know. I might have to do that - I'll see
if I can find the manual online somewhere.
Fortunately, the >>> console seems to be unaffected by
the bad RDM memory. Might be able to just leave it in.
Now I need to find a disk or tape controller...
