Hi Nico,
I have three Philips X1216's, also based on the IBM 5444; I don't know
how similar these are to the 6875, perhaps you know? They have 5 MB on
a fixed platter, and 5 MB in a cartridge. One of the three is in bad
shape, so I'm pilfering that one for parts to - hopefully - restore
the other two to working order. It doesn't help your immediate need,
but if you do find an IBM drive, and then find that you need the
Philips specific electronics for it, or want the philips front plate,
chances are that I have what you need.
Camiel.

Hi all
Would anyone know where I can find a IBM 5440 diskdrive, or even better : a
Philips 6875? They both use IBM 5444 cassettes, although with a different
number of segments per track
