Looks like one to me too. That office looks like the ship's administrative
office. I suspect that if they are the last left to defend the ship it is
game over.
They are SK's, storekeepers. At first glance I thought it was a shore
installation, I have a hard time conceiving of that much room on board a
ship.
I've seen rooms like this while I was visiting the USS Missouri a good month
ago. Including similiarly looking (and some slightly newer) hardware on desks
in the IIRC supply department area.
Also two big telltales that this is aboard a (war) ship: the slanted wall to
the left and all the pipework snaking along the ceiling. Third one: the
insignia on the wall to the right seems to say 'BB 61' - the would be the
Iowa.
And yes, it very much would be "game over."
Yeah, if you have to throw the supply clerks (alongside the cooks and
bakers) into combat, things are dire indeed.
