Good to know. Can anyone else confirm having used
either the
MSV11-JD or the MSV11-JE with a PDP-11/84 system?
I have read the opposite, but I certainly bow to your much more
extensive hardware experience. However, have you ever actually used
an MSV11-JE board in a PDP-11/84 system?
No, I've used an 11/84 but never owned one nor taken one apart. But
it's in plenty of documentation, like for example the MSV11-J manual,
the relevant Micronote about memories for microPDP-11s, the 11/84
Technical and Reference Manual, and several entries in the DECUServe
archives.
