Hmm, moving the speaker outside of the case and into some form of
soundproofed box (along with the mic) might be a lot easier - not sure
what the limit on the speaker cable length would be, but it's probably a
fair distance.
Well, I've always thought that part of that sound was due to reverb
off the side of the steel case.
