The rails Pontus shows do look familiar, though. My first guess is
that they might come from later products, perhaps from boxes that
are pulled out all the time rather than only for maintenance -- the
RL01/02 drive, for example.
They're not off RL01/2 drives -- they're too fat. They don't look
like anything I've seen on any DEC equipment; they look more like
