Over here, the original 2001 (with the chicklet keyboard) was succeeded
briefly by a similar model still with SRAM but with a "proper" keyboard,
and that was succeeded by the 3000 series and then 4000 series, both of
which used 4116 DRAMs, with model numbers 3016, 3032, 4016, and 4032
according to whether they had 16K or 32K. Almost all the 40-column PETs
I've seen from around 1978/79-1982 had 4116 DRAM.
