Why? I've not gone torches and pitchforks over it (yet). I did however
express my point of view (as have many others). For that fact, if I
was looking to hire someone, and I knew that they had spammed a large
number of people, I would most likely place their name at the bottom
of my list.
I know some will disagree, but I find this continued ranting and
whining
about the original email just as bad as spam. It's unsolicited (it is
off-topic, for sure, and has nothing to do with classic computers), it
is bulk (via the mailing list), and it comes via email.
Either send the man some work, or don't, but can we debate whether it's
spam in some other mailing list?
(Yes, I am aware of the irony of adding yet another "spammy" message to
this already tired thread...)
