A USB interface for this, I believe, would just be a USB->serial
adapter with a breakout for power.
Yes, but what I had in mind was more of an HID device to emulate
(possibly programmable) sequences of keys. But I suppose a serial
adapter would be a good bit simpler, and could probably be made to
work with Xinput.
