Let's also give credit where credit is due - there are huge numbers
of *nix guys that are as bad as the Windows guys. The penguin crowd
are the worst offenders.
Having seen inside CSX Railroad's control room in Indianapolis, I can
tell you that there's a lot of PCs running the(ir) railroad, even if
they're not running Windows. They're also not the only business I've
removed classic gear from that has quite successfully switched to a
commodity hardware platform.
