And a question for the US experts. On a 120v
circuit, will a $6.00
GFI detect a leak between neutral and ground? Or is the detection
circuitry only on the high side of the line?
I'm pretty sure it's only on the high side. They do make GFCI's that
detect on the neutral side, but if memory serves, they aren't the cheap
ones you find in giant bins in the Home Despot.
