Make that EWB'ed (Extremely Well Behaved).
It was
largely BIOS and DOS function call compatible, but
that was all.
There was at least 1 186 mobo/puter from a company
called Computer Products United. Said to be 100%
compatible (not possible if they utilized the 186's
onboard peripherals).
While it is not hard to get CLOSE, Truly 100% compatability would
also require 100% copyright infringement.
