Nice indeed. I guess I have bits of that system...a VT100 (minus the
crucial guts to make it a VT180,) the floppy unit and, most
interestingly to me, the modem. Does anyone know if that modem (DF03)
was ever sold to customers? The one I have is marked "DEC service
part only, not for resale" and, from what I could gather, was the
service tandem on an 11/780 box (I could be wrong on the model there
as it came from a large datacenter of multiple generations of DEC
equipment.)
Noting that the seller says he got the 180 setup from a DEC employee,
this theory isn't contradicted.
