Guess I've just gotten used to them.
There's even dimmable ones now, though they still look odd color wise,
and they seem to have some capacitance effect. If I put the dimmer all
the way down, but not to the off position, sometimes they still glow for
a little while, other times they don't at all.
I wish the LED lights would go down in price, but even then, they seem
to be a bit, um, directional, and they don't provide very much light.
