Does somebody know of a modern Unix system which truly
focuses on
resources consumption, which is lean and fast?
I'd like to hear if you find
one.
It seems that you could take a fork of NetBSD 1.x and have something
useful to build on.
I've been doing that for the past seven years (I froze at 1.4T in
February 2000).
It hasn't gone anywhere as far as I can tell.
