plenty of compact mac users want them so they don't
have to open up their
macs to install one of the ethernet cards.
At least with the Color Classic you don't have to open up the
case itself...just the small access cover on the rear that allows the
mainboard to be pulled out enough to insert a PDS card in t he loan
PDS slot. I dread the thought of opening the case of one of the
earlier ones, such as the Plus, though most people likely wouldn't
for anything other than a RAM upgrade.
